I have two weeks until I get to go to the beach. I haven't posted anything about cute and affordable bathing suits yet. So here are some great ones.

Healthy Snacks

So it's summer time, which for me means time to get healthy. I been exercising and looking up great meals and snacks. I will probably be doing more posts including fun ways to exercise, great healty meals, and exercise clothes and equpiment. So I'm goping to start off with fun ways to make fruit even better. Now the first way you've probably already seen, it is fruit popsicles, I saw Macbarbie07 make some and I also saw a make your own popsicles in seventeen magazine. So her's macbarbie07's video (Bethany):

1. Fruit Popsicles:

Yum! I love fruit and I think this just makes it better, I mean it ht outside and why eat sugar loaded ones. Now the next way is also obvious, and it is to make a fruit parfait. You could eat this for breakfast actually to get your metabolism started, or you could eat it as a mid-day snack.

2. Fruit Parfait:
Add yogurt to the bottom of a cup or bowl, then add fruit, you could use berries, cut up strawberrys, or really ny kind you like, then add some more yougurt on top. You could also add some gronala to the top.



okay so how about veggies, they aren't as sweet and not as appealing, but don't get em wrong, I still love them. Now what you could do is dip them in any low fat or non-fat dip. You could also make a salad, or make a smoothie.

 3. Smoothies

Here is a recipie you may want to try, remember everyone has different taste, so you may not like it.

• 1 cup apple juice
• 1 cup of sliced apple (sweet tasting apples are better)
• 1/4 cup applesauce
• 1/2 cup sliced carrots
• 1/2 cup of cucumber (peeled and sliced)
• 2 cups of ice
• a dash of nutmeg or cinnamon (optional)

okay so you think that recipie is disgusting.. the try a fruit smoothie instead.

•  12 oz. Lowfat  Milk
• 1 1/2 cups (to 2 cups) whole strawberries, frozen or fresh
• 1 container (8 oz.) sugar-free strawberry yogurt

 basic right? You could always google more.

4. Popcorn

Popcorn is one of the easiest snacks. It can be really health if you do it right. Just buy plain popcorn. Don't add butter, but if you need a little flavor add some seasoning or a little bit of salt and pepper.

 

5. Chips?

If you are wanting chips, but don't want to have all that fat go into your body, just try baked or kettle cooked, they are much healthier and I think they taste better.

Fathers Day

What are you doing for Fathers Day? I am going to make my dad breakfast, and a cake. I also bought him some cologne he said he used to wear when he was in the army,Calvin Klein Eternity. I only bought the 1fl oz. because it was the only size they had. It was $25. I am glad that I have a father to share this day with and if you do to then you could make him a card, or a make him breakfast. If your dad is not with you to celebrate, then you could celebrate with others like a friend or your mother, grandfather. This day is really special for me because I appreciate everything my father has done for me. So i just wanted to post this quick post because fathers day is on Sunday and I made a post for mothers day, and I really do appreciate how lucky I am to have a wonderful father. So have fun this Sunday and give your thanks.

NYC lipsticks?

So I've been trying to find some cheap lipsticks. Of course these came up. Their are 2 types that I got, The $1.99 ones, and the $0.99 ones. I got to of the $0.99, I got four of the $1.99 ones. I actually lost one(in fragile pink) and I gave one(in smooch) to my sister, because the color wasn't good with my skin tone. Now to start out these lipsticks are very shimmery, but they're a couple of matte ones. They brake easily, and smell weird, but to fix those two problems you could actually melt the lipsticks into pot form(they're are plenty of videos on youtube) and as for the smell just take a good smelling and tasting lip balm, I recommend all of the eos lip balms. (especially Lemon Drop beacause it has spf in it)

They last about an hour(not that long), but since they are so cheap you can apply more without feeling guilty of wasting product.
